Master Bath Design Ideas in 2017

CHOCOLATE WALLS

A floating bathtub and brown grasscloth walls instantly cozy up a Pennsylvania farmhouse's master tub. Add bath salts and a couple of towels for complete calm.

FLORAL MURAL

"I love cherry flowers," says designer Caroline Beaupere. "This master bathroom at a house in New Jersey was inspired by hanami, the Japanese tradition of going to see the blossoms as part of a celebration of spring."

Given that the Pacific Ocean views, Ohara Davies-Gaetano chose to bring a sunken bathtub to this windowed alcove, and a cozy fireplace. Now the owners can participate in flickering flames and waves.

Designer Eddie Lee reimagined this master bathroom as "a blend of English charm and Asian lushness, with some European classicism added in," he states. While Farrow & Ball paint mimics a cloudless heavens, panels grace the walls.

"I really like a glamorous bathroom," designer Marshall Watson states. A Florida house's master bath turned with a cast-iron tub paned windows, custom vanity, and crystal chandelier.

The beach is right outside this California home, but you never would have understood it based on its former dark, compact design. Designer Daleet Spector additional windows to allow in light and reconfigured the space. "The clients don't like a lot of color, so we worked with different textures rather," she says.
